webmail editor and images via clipboard

Is there a possibility to get the clipboard content, espacially images, into the webmail editor (inline)?
Pasting Text into webmail editor possible, but no images.

With chrome the clipboard and images is working. But not with firefox. Why?

Working in Chrome 43.0
Working in MS-IE 11.
Not working in Zimbra Desktop 7.2.5 and 7.2.7
Not working in ZwClient 2.0 beta
Not working in Firefox 38.0.1 ESR

Hi Manfred,
You will see this fixed in the Zimbra Web Client with the next Zimbra Collaboration 8.6 Patch3, that is expected next week.

About Zimbra Desktop, is totally different editor, can you please fill a bug for it? https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/enter_bug.cgi
For the ZwClient 2.0 Beta, as I know the developer of this project, is based on Firefox, so should work with the Patch 3 also, but not sure yet.

Hi Jorge,

many thanks for this information. And it works in most cases.

It does not work with "strg-v". Only with right Mouse-Click and paste.

And the Images are inserted without an extension. So some Windows-Clients have Problems to open the image.

Escpecially Outlook seems to have this problem.

In all Web-Clients that i tried to show this images its working.

In meantime i have Zimbra Collaboration 8.6 Patch4 and Firefox ESR 38.3.0
