I'm looking forward to install a new server to migrate from Ubuntu 12.04 in order to install the next updates.
Our infrastructure is 2 ESX servers and a SAN.
Current disk config on Zimbra (df -h):
Code: Select all
root@zimbra:~# df -h
Sys. de fichiers Taille Utilisé Dispo Uti% Monté sur
/dev/mapper/zimbra-root 15G 4,3G 9,4G 32% /
udev 6,9G 4,0K 6,9G 1% /dev
tmpfs 1,4G 256K 1,4G 1% /run
none 5,0M 0 5,0M 0% /run/lock
none 6,9G 0 6,9G 0% /run/shm
/dev/sda1 228M 82M 134M 39% /boot
/dev/mapper/vg-zimbra 1,4T 1,1T 157G 88% /opt/zimbra
What is the best storage configuration to set at the installation of Ubuntu ? I'd like to allocate 2TB to Zimbra on the new server
Also what are the best CPU/vCPU, storage (thin, static/eager or static/lazy) and RAM settings in vSphere ?
Thanks !
Best Regards
