PST bulk import via Zimbra Migrator

Post by ETES »

Hey @all,

I am looking for a solution to migrate over 1000 users into Zimbra using PST-Files.
I already asked the support of Zimbra, but they didn't have any possibilities to fix this issue.

All they told us was:

You can download the 'ZCS Migration Wizard for Exchange/PST' from 'Zimbra Admin console>Tools and Migration' to migrate PST for a user account to Zimbra. However, as you've highlighted, this tool doesn't have a query builder/XML support for batch migration. It has to be done one by one using PST in the tool.
You can refer to the given documentation :
https://files.zimbra.com/website/docs/8 ... _8.6.0.pdf

This seems quite impossible to us... Or it would cost many months of work.
Any different ideas?

Thanks in advance

You'll have to use the pst import tool for each user as the mail needs to be imported into specific user accounts. You should also read the document in the link you've been given (and some of the wiki articles) on how to use the import tool.

Hi,
Please try with 2 users or so so you can see before run it with 1000 users :)
Edit:
You have two ways you can try to import .pst in bulk mode:
1st one, and the I've recommend, using the new ZimbraMigration_8.6.0.1307_x64.zip you can find it in:
Image You can find more information on the page 23 and above, pay attention for the .pst steps only:

2nd one, and this is the one I've used in the past, but I remember I had a lot of errors, and some contents which were not imported, using the Legacy Tool called ZCSPSTImportWizard-8.6.0.1307.zip you can find it in:

You can find more information, old one, here Let us know

Best regards
