Hello Phoenix,
Thank you for your reply.
indeed, I set up an iptable firewall, and I configured a dnsmasq service and I have no problem.
But until now I can not receive external mails and I opened all ports on the firewall

Re: Problem receiving email from gmail or outlook
Apparently you do, according to your posts in this thread.idiop wrote:indeed, I set up an iptable firewall, and I configured a dnsmasq service and I have no problem.
You appear to be not reading, or not understanding, what#'s being said to you. I've already given you the answer to your problem, you need to configure a Split DNS, read the wiki article and/or search the forums for further information on the subject.idiop wrote:But until now I can not receive external mails and I opened all ports on the firewall
Re: Problem receiving email from gmail or outlook
I understand what you said I install a split DNS (dnsmasq) here below the configuration I made:phoenix wrote:Apparently you do, according to your posts in this thread.idiop wrote:indeed, I set up an iptable firewall, and I configured a dnsmasq service and I have no problem.

server=60.240.152.15 (IP_DNS)
listen-address=127.0.0.1
domain=mydomain.com
mx-host=mydomain.com,mail.mydomain.com,10
address=/mail.mydomain.com/158.54.20.20 (IP_SRV_MAIL)
if there is any other solution to configure a split dns you can share it on my email (idrissadiop5@gmail.com)
Thanks
Re: Problem receiving email from gmail or outlook
You can confirm if the Split DNS is correctly set by running all the commands in the Verify... section of that wiki article.

Re: Problem receiving email from gmail or outlook
I don't use dnsmasq so I can't confirm if those settings are correct nor can I tell if the DNS server at 60.240.152.15 is actually a DNS server, or not. I also can't tell from that output if you have any external DNS records nor who hosts them because you've possibly obfuscated all the information.
I'd suggest you try some of the online tests for a mail server such as the one from here: https://mxtoolbox.com/diagnostic.aspx - that will confirm if your DNS records are correct and also give you the ability to test a connection to your server, I'd suggest you try it plus there are many sites on the internet that provide this type of service.
