Zimbra Options Not Shown In Setup Window

Post by Pawlik »

Hello community members,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar/same issue as this one.

I have installed the latest Zimbra Connector on Windows 10 (Outlook 2013) and then tried setting up Zimbra email account on Outlook. However, the options(Other >> Zimbra Collaboration Server / Zimbra Persona) do not show up in the setup window of Outlook at all.
We have tried uninstalling it and installing an old version too but no luck.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? We would like to set up a Zimbra account on Outlook using Zimbra Connector and we need these options to show up.
I have attached a screenshot of an example. Usually we get this option marked with red pen but the issue is that we do not get this...

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

What does the first screen of your Outlook setup look like? You may have to disable Outlook 365 simplified account creation, if the issue is what I'm thinking it is.

Not sure if user found his answer or not, but I have encountered this issue with W10-64 and Outlook 2016 CtR and Z-conn 8.7.10.1711 (I believe). My solution has always been to do a repair or reinstall of the connector. I know user claims this was done to no avail, but it has never failed me.

Perhaps the user should start from scratch and completely remove z-conn and OL 2013, then reinstall. OL & its partners-in-crime Z-conn and W10 - are always finding ways to mess with our head.
