Alias domain producing bounces

Hi.
$customer changed their domain address so I've renamed the Zimbra main domain and created a new alias for the old one. This is the setting of the alias domain:

zimbraDomainName: OLDDOMAIN.it
zimbraMailCatchAllAddress: @OLDDOMAIN.it
zimbraMailCatchAllForwardingAddress: @NEWDOMAIN.it
zimbraAdminConsoleCatchAllAddressEnabled: FALSE

Unfortunately with this config when the server receives an email for an unknown @OLDDOMAIN.it address the mail is accepted, and then bounced. This produces backscatter...

Is the configuration correct? Or should I remove the catchall address and add an alias on every single account? thanks
