IMAP not connecting properly slow server

My server its getting very slow all of a sudden and IMAP is disconnecting a lot...

I have 128 users any ideas what might be happening or how I can check ?

I have a hardware firewall in front only allowing through the recommended ports

If you're allowing http/https and/or imap then you're vulnerable with 8.8.9. You need to upgrade to 8.8.15 asap.
