Thunderbird - can't view a folder even after subscribe

Post by WebGreg »

Hello.

I'm sorry if I chose the wrong forum, but I thought that since you're talking about Zimbra's interoperability with Outlook, it might be a good fit for Thunderbird as well.

I added the account to Thunderbird as imap. Unfortunately, access problems gradually began to appear - first to folders from other accounts that had been shared. They weren't displaying properly.

Currently I only see my inbox and trash. All other folders, despite selecting the subscription option, do not want to appear. I don't have this problem with accounts on other mail servers than Zimbra.

If I uncheck the option: Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings > Advanced button > "Show only subscribed folders"
I will see the folders, but all of them. When I select the option - again, practically all of them disappear, and the selection of the folder for subscription is not saved.

@WebGreg

Do you see any errors when subscribe to folders not listing any error logs?

Hi @yogesh.dasi

Does the Thunderbid have logs? No error message either. Strange thing. Now I checked the "Show only subscribed folders" option again to check and when I open the subscription manager - all folders are selected. But when I uncheck them - there is no reaction, they are still displayed. So there is the opposite effect ;) Something wrong with the cache? I closed the program, opened it - no changes.

Edit. I found an unsubscribed folder. I selected it and it appeared on the list.
I entered the subscription manager again, deselected another folder - no reaction.
I entered the subscription manager again - the one whose subscription I deselected still has the checkbox checked.
So I tried to unsubscribe from the one I had just managed to subscribe to - no reaction.
I tried to subscribe to another one - no reaction either. It doesn't remember the settings again. But why did it work for a while?
