I'm not sure what I'm reading in the forums. It sounds like there are more than one possible path to another open source version of zimbra.
I'm running 8.8.15 on a Centos 7.9 host so I assume there is no upgrade path for that OS anyhow.
If there is none, is there a way to save all configurations to upgrade to something newer?
Sorry for asking but I've been reading this all day and walk away from all I've read more confused than with a clear upgrade path.

Re: zimbra 8.8.15 to intalio conversion
You're correct about the EOL for CentOS 7 i.e. it was in June 2024.
I'd suggest you move to something like Oracle 8 (I use this O/S) plus the Zextras 9 version of ZCS (I also use this version of ZCS), you could use the Zextras tools for a migration to another Zimbra version. There are also plenty of builds of Zimbra by forum members if you want another build.

Re: zimbra 8.8.15 to intalio conversion
Thank you for the input.
LOL, I thought 7.9 was EOL like 2027 or something.
Yes, I guess a new build and migration is my only option but I'd go with Rocky9 or Ubuntu server as second choice.

What do you mean by this if you don't mind my asking?

Re: zimbra 8.8.15 to intalio conversion
Just for EOL clarity:
The other build of Zimbra are built by forum member such as Ian Walker and various other Zimbra users, an internet search should find them, such as this:

There is, of course, the builds from Oracle on which you can install Zimbra - as I mentioned I use Oracle 8 with Zextras ZCS 9 without problems.

Re: zimbra 8.8.15 to intalio conversion
In my case I moved to a new Rocky 8 / Zimbra 10 server (from Ian's builds) by backing up and restoring the individual accounts using CLI commands in a script.
The commands are taken from this guide https://www.habibza.in/zimbra-open-sour ... -transfer/ and I found the process reliable also for mailboxes of several GB.
There are many procedures out there, for my small installation (only a handful of users) I preferred the "manual" method to better control what I am doing and migrate only the user data to keep the new installation "clean".
Good luck
