Hi all,
I don't know if I'm the first to witness this.
There's a customer (university-like, 4500 accounts) that is still running 8.8.15.
Because, well, you know...
They intend to switch to 10.1 when this version works (license server issues, ActiveSync issues, etc).
Message for Synacor: only 3.5 months to fix everything and provide a version as stable/working as 8.8.15 was.
So they just got the quote for the renewal of their SnS (that they're paying each year, they did not miss last year).
There's a new line in the quote.
% increase to annual M&S "Extended Support" based on # of versions back. This extends the Technical Guidance period on an annual basis. 1 or more Major Version back means the version that exited the Technical Guidance period
0.12 euro per account (no VAR discount).

Re: Increase to annual M&S extended support
This is now extended to customers that still will be running 9.0 on July 1st, for renewal after this date.

I don't now if it's a flat price or per mailbox (if it's per mailbox, we got a quote at 4.2 euros per mailbox, for a renewal next September).
