Greetings,
Can I use the rsync method to migrate my data from a CentOS 8.x server to an Ubuntu 10.x server? I'm primarily moving configuration files and data, so I assume the difference in distributions shouldn't be an issue.
Both servers are running the community versions.
Thanks in advance,
Ibrahim

To use the rsync migration method, the source and destination Zimbra versions must match. If your current Zimbra version is 8.x, you will need to perform an in-place upgrade first.
I recently used this method to upgrade an older customer’s Zimbra installation without any issues.
