I'm struggling to concisely define my issue for the subject.
I'm using Thunderbird 38.3.0 for Ubuntu with Zimbra 8.6.0 FOSS edition build 1153 on the backend.
What is happening is that some, not all of my messages are not being shown as they appear in the message list.
i.e. In my Inbox, I'll have a message from person A. When I click to view that message, a message from person B appear - total different message.
When I view my account via the web console, all is well except that I do not have access to my local folders.
It appear to be more of a T-Bird issue and I've cross-posted on the Mozilla forum.
Has anyone experienced this before?

Local Folders from Thunderbird cannot be accessed through Zimbra-Webmail. Only Folders on Server are available. (Using IMAP)
Local Folders are located on your machine. The Server has no access to your local machine.
For first Problem:
If you are using IMAP, delete your Profile including your "MSF-Files". Then reload all Mails from Server (deleting Profile delets also your setting how you connect to Server!). There are defects in the MSF-Files
