Has anyone upgraded their Ubuntu 10 to 12 in order to upgrade their Zimbra to 8.x?
The Ubuntu installation has a few questions I hope to get confirmation that they are NOT required for Zimbra to function even if I answer yes for all 5 questions:
1. Replace Syslog? Yes
remove old format statistics data files from /var/log/sysstat
2. Replace Bash? No
3. Replace /etc/rsyslog.d/50-default.conf? No
4. Replace /etc/sudoers? No
5. Remove obsolete packages? Yes

Re: Ubuntu 10 to 12 upgrade
Hi bhwong,
That steps sounds correct to me. You will need to run the ZCS packager for the new Ubuntu version, it will detect your OS and upgrade the packages.
Best regards
