Allow relay for Distribution Lists

Hi, First post... hope I get it right...
Zimbra Version: 8.8.15_GA_4484.FOSS
OS: Centos 7

I am having a problem with a distribution list, I have allowed external users to send to a list , and that is working fine. Internal Users in the DL get the email, however, external users do not.
If an internal user sends to the DL, everyone in DL gets the email, both internal and external.

So the problem I am trying to solve is an external user in a DL getting a copy of the email from an external sender to the DL.
I think the issue maybe round open relay issue, but not sure where to go next. In zimbra log There are entries like this "Open relay? Nonlocal recips but not originating"

DL with external users on the list and when when external user sends email to this DL, external users on this DL list don't get email but the internal users get the email?
Could you share the logs related to open relay entries you are referring to please.

I believe this is the same issue, and if so, a fix is on the way
