Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 10.1 Upgrade - zimbra.log ownership issue.

Has anyone else spotted an issue with the ownership of /var/log/zimbra.log ?

The Zimbra logrotate sets the owner as syslog:adm correctly, but zmfixperms resets it to zimbra:zimbra. This precludes rsyslog from writing to it until the midnight log rotate creates a new one with the correct permissions.

Not a big issue, just one I spotted after doing a few test upgrades.

zmfixperms hasn't had Ubuntu 22.04 added to that test.

Yes, this issue arises because zmfixperms hasn't been updated for Ubuntu 22.04, causing it to set incorrect ownership for /var/log/zimbra.log, hindering rsyslog functionality.game fr legends mod apk

Good catch! That explains the ownership issue perfectly. It seems like Ubuntu 22.04 just isn’t accounted for in the script yet. Hopefully, they’ll update zmfixperms soon to avoid this mismatch in future upgrades. game fr legends mod apk
